Safe Kids

Safe Kids Tulsa Area is dedicated to preventing injuries in children, the number one killer of kids in the United States. When it comes to the daily activities and lives of kids, parents and caregivers must always “think safe.”

Preventable injuries are just that—preventable. They often occur in predictable ways and can be completely avoided with the right education, awareness and planning. That's why we are calling on everyone to come together to raise awareness and get involved to ensure that all children have the chance to grow up healthy and safe, and do all the great things kids were meant to do.

Safe Kids and Saint Francis

Safe Kids Tulsa Area, led by The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis, is a group of organizations and concerned citizens that joined forces in early 1993 to prevent unintentional injuries – the leading cause of death and disability in children. Safe Kids Tulsa Area is dedicated to helping raise awareness among the general public and policy-makers through education, direct intervention programs and public policy initiatives.
